What happens when I apply for a job?

You see that exciting job on the web, on Linkedin or in our job mail. You file on your resume and write the pitch about yourself in your companion letter. It can be difficult to highlight your knowledge, what you want and what you are attracted by in the role you are looking for and in the company you are looking for.

When you then make a case and submit your application, you might think at the same time – is anyone really going to read what I am submitting? Yes, I promise we will!

Our goal is to always be quick to read the applications received and as soon as we can we will feedback to you. It can be a phone reconciliation to hear more about what you've done and what you want, it might be to meet for an interview with us. Or we thank you for your interest and commitment, but we will proceed with other candidates at this point. We try to be as transparent as possible to those who apply for a job through us and you can follow your application through your profile on the web.

Sometimes things goes fast when we staff a position especially if it is a consulting assignment – then it can be about days from ad to a person starting to work. So, if you're interested in that kind of job, my advice is search the job right away it's advertised out!

In other cases, it may take longer, our client may not be in a hurry, there may be many who apply for position and selection work will be extra tricky. Our mission is to match the right person with the right job, based on many different factors. But we try to keep you updated on what's going on, if and why it pulls out over time. Do you think it has been many weeks from the time you submitted your application but that you have not heard anything – then of course you are welcome to contact us and ask how it goes.

We interview candidates for the roles, presenting those closest to what our client is looking for both knowledge and valuation. There are many parts that should be right when to change jobs and colleagues.

I hope this gives an insight into how our processes work.
